Spiritual Vibration
28. Spiritual Vibration: Ingesting Fear
Does the energy of the slaughterhouse follow the meat to the table?
Psychological Reason
Animal slaughter involves extreme trauma, fear, and pain. These intense emotional states are biochemically recorded in the animal's tissues through adrenaline and other stress hormones. Ingesting these "vibrations" can lead to unexplained restlessness, anxiety, and aggression in humans.
Scriptural Quote
The Vedas describe food as Prana (life force). Meat is considered "dead" food, lacking the vital sunlight energy of plants. It is Tamasic, leading to mental dullness and spiritual lethargy.
Moral Principle
The vibration of compassion is light and elevating. The vibration of violence is heavy and binding. Which one do you want to build your body and mind with?
Scientific Connection
Modern physics tells us everything is vibration. Cultivating a peaceful mind starts with peaceful inputs. Vegetarian food is "high vibration" food.
